savege mantis

my robot design for my one of my final. it's name is savege mantis, means fierce, brutal, violent, barbaric and cruel.

'bout the robot'

SM can acctually be known as an assassin as well, 'cause it is designed, invented has programmed to eliminate its target in either silent or direct way. once it sets kill, it will locate and hunt down the target. it will react spontaneously according to the situation. before SM attact, it will hack into the satellite or the surviellance system of the place, with the Antenna on its head, which is a reciever of theradation/microwaves, so that it can have a targets on its screen, and this makes it easier to accomplish the objective set.

as the praying mantises do, SM will wait and strike! normally, it react or responds to situation which mostly will harm itself. eventually, attack mode will be activated, once it is being hit. during attact mode,SM kill and destroys. the blades will chop and slash the enemies into pieces within a couple of seconds.

the slim design of the body, which is titanium made, makes SM able to move very fast, can leap two storeys of building each time, and react sensitively. it's always being in ALERT mode. SM only reconizes its owner/commander/creator and their family mambers. it will never harm innocence, but will do the same thing, KILL, if it's being attactked. basically, in SM's system, it's already being automated to do cross-referencing of a person's bio-data by hacking into private systems. it able to analyss and digest the data and react accordingly to the result.

to make SM moves smoother and more active, the joins throughout its body are highly flexible. the blades at its back, which is sharpe as japanese samurai blades, has to act or spin(either way) very fast and accurate, plus the all-around360 degree moving direction ot the blade arms, the flexibility of the joins are very important.

to round up everything, SAVAGE MANTIS is designed for secret organizations. it strictly has to be handle in proper way. if it falls into the wrong hand, it will be a disaster to all mankind. once it being duplicated, that will be even worst!
